Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust

The beginning of a Hokianga Literacy Hub – Phyllis and Richard Nahi and Jo Poland met in the torrential rain at Kawakawa last Friday, to talk about how RYALT might be able to support the literacy work the Nahis are doing and so Jo could deliver some donated laptops for the new group.

In recognition of the Trust’s 2017 decision to work with teenagers, and its recognition that working with young people may prevent years of unhappiness for these teenagers, at its meeting today the board of the Adult Literacy Rural Trust has changed the trust’s name to the Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust. RYALT.
